Job Description

Who We Are

Silfjord Advisory is building a platform for sourcing and executing unique, global, off-market transactions across private capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, family office advisory, and commodities. Our team brings together experienced professionals with backgrounds in investment banking, private equity, and international trade. We are ambitious, lean, and entrepreneurial, with a commitment to building an institution recognized for its ability to unlock value in complex markets.

The Role

We are seeking high-caliber professionals at the Assistant or Associate or Manager levels to join our growing platform. This is a commission-based and revenue-share opportunity (initially) to contribute directly to transaction origination and execution while gaining significant exposure to private markets. The role is fully remote and best suited to candidates who are entrepreneurial, resourceful, and motivated by performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Originate and qualify deal opportunities through structured research, targeted outreach, and relationship-building.

- Support transaction execution, including preliminary due diligence, business and financial analysis, and coordination with advisors and counterparties.

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with investors, corporates, and other stakeholders across international markets.

- Prepare internal and external materials, such as presentations, client updates, and market insights.

- Contribute to maintaining accurate records in our CRM system and supporting smooth internal operations.

Candidate Profile

- Currently pursuing or holding a degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline.

- 0–3 years of relevant experience (e.g., investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate finance, or high-growth startups). Exceptional graduates with strong internships or projects will also be considered.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.

- Analytical and research capabilities; strong proficiency in Excel is expected. Experience with platforms such as Bloomberg or PitchBook is an advantage.

- Self-motivated and capable of managing responsibilities in a remote, international environment.

- Interest in private markets, M&A, or deal structuring is preferred, though a willingness to learn is equally valued.

- As we do international deals, a professional level of English is mandatory, as well as a high level of at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, German, Polish, Arabic, Mandarin.

Compensation & Growth

- Compensation: Commission-based, directly tied to the revenue generated from deals you help originate or execute. To be expanded into a salaried role in the future.

- Growth: Close mentorship from senior professionals and the opportunity to transition into salaried or equity-aligned roles as the firm expands.

- Flexibility: Remote, global team with high performance expectations but no unnecessary bureaucracy.
