Junior Software Engineer | Remote

Position: Exceptional Junior SWE

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $50–$150/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sophisticated database schemas and backend systems.
• Design, develop, and integrate robust APIs for scalable applications.
• Create realistic environments and synthetic data to support advanced AI and reinforcement learning workflows.
• Ensure applications are secure, performant, and modular.
• Collaborate asynchronously while meeting project guidelines and timelines.

Requirements

• Strong experience in software engineering within high-performance or demanding environments.
• Strong proficiency in API development, testing, and integration.
• Strong skills in SQL and database structuring.
• Strong problem-solving ability with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, contract-based environment.
