Purchasing Agent | $80/hr Remote

Position: Buyers and Purchasing Agent Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $60–$80/hour Location: Remote Commitment: ~30 hours/week (flexible up to 40) Role Responsibilities

• Create structured deliverables addressing common buying and procurement requests within your professional domain.
• Review and evaluate peer-developed deliverables to improve quality and usefulness for AI research.
• Apply real-world purchasing and supplier management expertise to diagnose and solve domain-specific challenges.
• Contribute independently to research initiatives supporting next-generation machine learning systems.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain–related roles.
• Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate real-world procurement workflows into clear, structured outputs.
• Analytical mindset with comfort reviewing and refining peer work.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
• Reliable availability to meet weekly workload commitments.
