Full Stack Developer

DCG is seeking a talented full-stack developer to help build a web application focused on financial loss modelling using advanced statistical techniques.

Our flagship software, VantageRisk, is a financial loss modelling software designed to help cybersecurity practitioners easily measure cyber risk. Currently in early alpha development, we’re looking to partner with developers who can help us take this project to the next level.

What We're Looking For:We are seeking developers with experience in:

• Quickly learning and navigating software architectures
• Integrating payment solutions like Stripe
• Proficiency in Node.js and Next.js
• Experience with FastAPI
• Implementing UI/UX designs from Figma
• Familiarity with mathematical and graphing libraries (e.g., React Flow)

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and refine the existing UI/UX based on Figma designs
• Collaborate with UI/UX specialists to enhance the software’s user experience
• Write and run test cases for software testing and quality assurance
• Develop and enhance both front-end and back-end functionality, including payment integration and general UI improvements

Ideal Skills & Experience:

• Proven full-stack development experience, specifically for web applications
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and risk modelling
• Proficiency in:
• React 19
• Python
• Node.js
• Next.js 15+
• Prisma ORM & tRPC
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines

Advantageous Skills:

• Familiarity with Python data libraries such as SciPy, Pandas, and NumPy
• Proficiency in Unix
• AWS experience
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Supabase
• Prior start-up or DevOps experience (preferred but not mandatory)
