Role Description

This is a full-time remote Accountant role. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. Additional responsibilities include performing monthly reconciliations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, analyzing financial data to identify trends or discrepancies, and assisting in audits. The Accountant will collaborate with departmental teams to provide financial guidance and ensure overall fiscal accuracy and transparency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting practices and financial reporting
• Strong skills in budget management, accounts reconciliation, and auditing
• Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and tax laws
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred but not required
• Prior experience in non-profit or education-related financial management is a plus
