Abri is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our team and gain hands-on experience building and managing modern data architectures. You’ll develop the technical and soft skills needed to make data accessible, accurate, and actionable for data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence teams.

This role is perfect for someone starting their career in data engineering, eager to learn ETL pipelines, databases, cloud platforms, and data visualization techniques while collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

What You’ll Do

• Learn to design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
• Work with databases and data lakes to clean, structure, and optimise datasets
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand and deliver reporting requirements
• Apply core data principles to ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of data
• Analyse and interpret datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends
• Document processes and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesSkills & Experience

• Three A-levels (grade C or above) or equivalent, preferably including Maths, IT, or Science
• Foundational knowledge of SQL, Python, or cloud platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a team environment
• Full, clean driving licence for travel between offices and meetings
