We are hiring for a Silicon Valley Startup doing "API to Search, Extract, Structure Web Data to get clean data for your AI from any website and automate your web workflows".

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a highly intelligent builder who enjoys solving complex problems and working with high autonomy.

We are building an agentic search experience inside our API, so candidates interested in search engines, retrieval systems, and AI-native architectures will find this especially exciting.

That said, prior direct experience in search infrastructure is not a strict requirement. What matters most to us is intellectual sharpness, strong engineering fundamentals, and cultural fit with a small, ambitious team.

We optimize for people we genuinely enjoy building with. The rest can be learned.

Technical requirementsWe care more about raw intelligence, problem-solving ability, and how you think than about checking every technical box. Even candidates with unconventional backgrounds (e.g., physics or other quantitative fields) are encouraged to apply if they are strong builders and fast learners.

• Experience with AWS
• Experience developing with Node.js / JavaScript
• Ability to create and manage browser plugins and/or applications (mobile/desktop)
• Hands-on experience integrating APIs from leading AI labs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI-based editors (Cursor or similar)

Nice to have (not mandatory)

• Experience building or working on large-scale search systems
• Experience with indexing systems, ranking algorithms (e.g., BM25), vector search, or embeddings
• Background as a backend engineer or full-stack engineer
• Experience designing or scaling retrieval systems

Other requirements

• Excellent command of English
• Ability to work independently and responsibly

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain web apps
• Manage and update browser plugins and/or the app
• Implement and manage integrations via APIs with major AI providers (Claude, OpenAI, etc.)
• Collaborate directly with the technical team and management
