Lateral Connect is a fast-growing cybersecurity training and mentoring platform. We specialise in delivering NCSC-accredited training and NCFE Level 3 Cybersecurity qualifications, combined with mentorship and employability support, to create vetted, job-ready cyber professionals.

Our mission is to close the cybersecurity skills gap while opening doors for diverse and underrepresented talent. We do this by working with employers, universities, and associations, and increasingly with CSR, DEI, and ESG teams who want to invest in talent pipelines that create measurable social impact.

Role Description

We are seeking a Corporate Social Responsibility Recruitment & Partnerships Specialist to drive growth by developing partnerships with corporates and organisations that want to:

  • Sponsor learners into our programmes (CSR/DEI impact)
  • Hire from our vetted graduate pool (talent pipeline)
  • Upskill/reskill existing employees via NCSC Assured training

This role is commission-based only until contracts are signed, ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and creating impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and engage potential corporate partners (CSR, HR, DEI, L&D leads).
  • Pitch and present Lateral Connects programmes, impact data, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from outreach through to contract close.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners in CRM.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to refine proposals and partnership packages.
  • Represent Lateral Connect at virtual and in-person events where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in B2B sales, CSR partnerships, recruitment, or business development.
  • Strong network within corporate HR, CSR/DEI, or talent acquisition functions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable with a commission-only model initially.
  • Passion for social impact, diversity in tech, and workforce development.

Compensation

  • Commission-only until revenue is generated.
  • Attractive commission structure (e.g., 10–15% of closed sponsorships/contracts, with potential to transition to base + commission after targets are met).
  • Opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the partnerships team scales.
