Co-Founder/Newsletter Business Development

Company Description: Oakridge Holdings, founded by Sony Pictures alumni, is a dynamic company specializing in book-to-screen film productions. We are seeking a savvy entrepreneur & newsletter manager to co-own and drive an innovative, revenue-generating newsletter venture that will also cultivate a national community of readers while amplifying Oakridge’s B2B brand presence.

Role Description: This is a remote, entrepreneurial role for a Newsletter Business Development & Commissioned Sales position at Oakridge Holdings.

As a co-owner of this venture, you will lead lead generation, conduct market research, deliver exceptional customer service, and craft innovative business strategies for a newsletter that drives revenue and builds a vibrant reader community.

Daily responsibilities include identifying and engaging high-value prospects, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with the marketing team to optimize sales and brand-building efforts, positioning Oakridge as a leader in the entertainment and literary space.

• Proven entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical skills and market research experience
• Tech savvy, using the appropriate tools to scale growth
• KPI expertise; we need to measure and track everything
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills to build lasting relationships
• Expertise in lead generation and developing creative, revenue-focused business strategies
• Self-driven, independent, and passionate about owning and scaling a new venture
• Innovative problem-solving and creative thinking to elevate brand visibility
• Experience in sales, business development, or newsletter management (preferred)
• Educational background in Business, Marketing, or a related field
