Role Description

This is a contract, remote role for a Book Publisher. The Book Publisher will oversee the publishing process, including manuscript evaluation, coordination with authors and editors, and ensuring quality production standards. This role also entails managing timelines and budgets, liaising with design and marketing teams for book promotions, and staying updated on market trends to maintain competitive publishing strategies.

• Proven expertise in Publishing, Manuscript Editing, and Production Management
• Strong skills in Project Coordination, Time Management, and Budget Handling
• Experience with Market Research, Trend Analysis, and Strategic Planning
• Knowledge of Marketing, Book Promotion, and Author Relations
• Excellent Communication, Collaboration, and Problem-Solving abilities
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and platforms is an advantage
• Previous experience in publishing or related fields preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Publishing, English Literature, Journalism, or related field is beneficial
