PART TIME - (JOINERY) BOOKKEEPER (DAYSHIFT, REMOTE) -

This is a remote position. PERMANENT DAYSHIFT, REMOTE/WFH-PHILIPPINES JOB DESCRIPTION: Part time Bookkeeper Client : Custom bespoke joinery services VA Rate : $8AUD per hour Part time : will start at 20 hours per week Those in this role will be helping with day-to-day tasks related directly to their field, which means that precision is essential. They also support by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed. The role requires excellent organizational, communication and multitasking skills, as well as a thorough understanding of modern business practices. Qualifications ● Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures ● Familiarity with finance regulations in Australia is preferred (experience working for an Australian business is a must) ● Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors ● Hands-on experience with MYOB accounting software ● Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills ● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Duties And Responsibilities ● Recording Transactions: Coding and entering daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses into the general ledger. ● Accounts Payable & Receivable: Managing vendor payments, invoicing clients, and collecting payments. ● Reconciling bank and credit card statements to ensure records match bank records. ● Payroll Processing: Calculating and disbursing employee pay, including managing deductions. ● Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly or quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements.
