Junior Creative & Content Assistant (Freelance Contractor / 5–8 hrs per week)

You're the kind of person who colour-codes their Canva folders, high-fives themselves for finishing a caption batch, and gets an oddly specific thrill from making things look just right.

If you love content, aesthetics, and behind-the-scenes magic, this might be your dream freelance gig.

What You’ll Be Doing (aka What You’ll Free Me From):

🎨 Creative Support Tasks

Editing Reels: basic cuts, brandy transitions, snappy captions

Designing Story slides using Canva templates

Resizing/adapting graphics and content for Pinterest, LinkedIn, email marketing etc.

Sourcing and repurposing content ideas, trends and more for clients content strategy.

🗂 Client Delivery Tasks

Creating monthly content reports (using my template)

Doing light community engagement for clients (likes, comments, etc.)

Organising content assets in Google Drive (naming, sorting, saving)

🧠 Support & Execution Tasks

Formatting carousels or captions from rough notes

Repurposing video/podcast content into graphics or Reels

Uploading, writing and designing blog posts or emails (if needed)

Turning content into quote posts, epic hooks, or snackable captions

What Success Looks Like:

You prep content without me needing to touch it

Canva no longer eats my entire day up

Clients are happy. Reports are sent. Comments are replied to.

I can finally focus on coaching, creating, and actually growing the business

You’re a Fit If You...

Know your way around Canva like it’s your second home

Love content and can spot a typo from 10km away

Have strong attention to detail (mention your favourite snack in your intro so I know you read this)

Are proactive, communicative, and down to test new tools, trends or workflows

Want consistent freelance hours with flexibility. Suitable for an entry level freelancer, happy to support in training.

Details:

5–8 hours/week to start (with potential to grow)

$40/hr AUD, must be able to invoice with an ABN.

100% remote, async-friendly, and built for creatives

This is a freelance contractor role, not an employee position
