Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Junior Data Analyst. As the Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. Daily tasks include preparing reports, identifying trends, assisting in data visualization, and ensuring data accuracy. This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role where you will work across multiple domains (Product, Compliance, Finance, Operations) and help us build reliable data foundations as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist internal teams with data exports, queries, and transformations

• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and ad-hoc data issues

• Work closely with engineers to understand data structures and flows 

• Develop scripts and checks to validate data integrity and consistency

• Identify anomalies and support data reconciliation processes

• Help improve data reliability across systems 

• Build and maintain Metabase dashboards and models

• Support teams with data-driven insights and reporting

• Translate business questions into clear, actionable data outputs 

• Contribute to the design and implementation of analytics pipelines and data lakes

• Help structure and document datasets for internal use

• Collaborate with engineering on data modelling and architecture 

Key Requirements

• Basic experience with SQL (queries, joins, aggregations) 

• Familiarity with Python or similar scripting language

• Strong attention to detail and data quality mindset

• Ability to work across teams and understand business needs 

• Strong ability to work independently and take ownership 

• Curious, proactive and pragmatic mindset 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, primarily in remote setting 

• Proficiency in English (C1)

What would differentiate you

• Experience with Metabase (or similar BI tools) 

• Exposure to data pipelines / ETL processes 

• Understanding of fintech / payments / compliance data 

• Experience working with APIs or backend systems
