Psychologist
Job Description
Posted on: March 11, 2026
TheNeuro Nurture Collective is an Australia-wide Telehealth-only clinic dedicated to neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ inclusive practice.
We work primarily with neurodivergent adults, offering therapy that honours strengths, identities, and lived experiences. You can find more about us here: https://www.theneuronurturecollective.com/
About the Role
We’re seeking a psychologist to join our warm, supportive team for a minimum of two days per week. Your role will be to provide online therapy to adults, many of whom are autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent, co-creating goals and approaches that reflect each client’s unique needs and preferences. We'd love to invite you to join our mission: To provide warm, safe, and understanding therapy services to adults using a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed lens.
Our Values
At The Neuro Nurture Collective, we are adaptable, collaborative, and reflective. These values shape everything we do:
- Adaptable: We adjust pacing, language, tools, and structure based on the client’s presentation that day. We're comfortable letting go of a planned agenda if the client needs something different.
- Collaborative: We centre the client’s voice and goals. We work as part of a team, valuing shared problem solving, professional supervision, and multidisciplinary input.
- Reflective: We seek and respond to feedback, reflect on power and privilege in our work, and engage in supervision to deepen our practice. We display cultural humility and seek professional learning regularly.
Our vision is a future where neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed care is standard practice. We want to be part of a mental health system in which neurodivergent clients feel understood, respected, and safe, and where practitioners are confident, supported, and ethically grounded in affirming practice. Through our work, we aim to influence a national shift toward more inclusive, curious, and collaborative models of therapy, education, and community care.
Connection & Support
Because we’re a remote team, feeling connected matters deeply. As Director, I (Esther) prioritise this by offering monthly individual wellbeing check-ins, monthly peer supervision meetings, and an open door (and inbox) for debriefs, chats, and spontaneous support whenever it’s needed. Your well-being check-ins are always within your typical work hours (i.e replacing a client therapy session that day).
What You’ll Bring
- Registration as a psychologist (general or clinical) with AHPRA.
- Experience or strong interest in neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed therapy.
- Comfort working independently while actively engaging with a team culture of kindness and mutual care.
What We Offer
- Flexible hours and location, you can work from anywhere in Australia.
- Comprehensive administrative support so you can focus on clients.
- A warm, authentic environment where your input and reflections shape how we grow.
Please email esther@theneuronurturecollective.com with your CV and a brief cover letter - we would love to hear from you.
