Position Summary
W. R. Grace is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Human Resources Specialist to support HR operations and initiatives at a local and/or global level. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys handling a variety of HR functions—from talent support and onboarding to compliance and records management. You’ll work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure an efficient and positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle administration.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity by entering and updating employee records accurately and promptly.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR processes with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist in coordinating employee engagement initiatives, training logistics, and HR communications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to employment practices.
- Provide administrative support for talent acquisition, including interview scheduling, background checks, and candidate communications.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and managers on special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or specialist role.
- Strong working knowledge of HR processes, systems (HRIS), and best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Discreet and professional in handling confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Workday or similar HR platforms is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Part-time: 20–25 hours per week
- Hybrid or remote work options may be available depending on location
- Flexible daytime schedule with some fixed core hours
