The Role:
We’re hiring a Graphic Designer to produce high-performing static ads for our clients and eye-catching graphics for Alex Cooper’s personal content.
Your day-to-day will be split between two worlds:
- Client Ads – designing scroll-stopping static creative for some of the fastest-growing DTC brands.
- Content Graphics – creating YouTube thumbnails, infographics, and social visuals that amplify Alex’s content across X, LinkedIn, and other channels.
This is a hands-on creative role. You’ll take concepts, briefs, and ideas, then turn them into visuals that stand out, stop the scroll, and communicate a message instantly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Static Ads for Clients
- Design performance-driven static ads for a variety of DTC brands.
- Adapt concepts across different formats, platforms, and aspect ratios.
- Work closely with strategists to bring winning hooks and offers to life visually.
2. Content Graphics for Alex’s Brand
- Create high-converting YouTube thumbnails that grab attention and drive clicks.
- Design infographics, diagrams, and charts for X/LinkedIn posts.
- Produce supporting visuals for newsletters, landing pages, and giveaways.
3. Brand Consistency & Quality
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines (both client and Adcrate).
- Maintain a high bar for visual quality and clarity.
- Stay up-to-date with visual trends in DTC advertising and content creation.
Skills You’ll NeedMust-Have
- Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills.
- Comfortable working in design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
- Ability to translate marketing ideas into visuals that get clicks and conversions.
- Understanding of platform-specific design needs (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X/LinkedIn).
Nice-to-Have
- Proven experience designing static ads for paid social, ideally in the DTC space.
- Experience creating YouTube thumbnails that perform.
- Knowledge of direct response marketing principles.
- Comfortable working with AI-assisted design tools.
Team Interaction
- Slack: For all communication (gifs & memes are welcomed)
- Weekly Calls: We hold weekly check-ins with the creative teams as well as creative trainings twice every week. This is a chance to get the creative juices flowing and keep sharpening the knife. All calls are held between 2pm-6pm GMT on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Yearly retreat: Every year we’ll all fly to somewhere cool, reflect on the year, celebrate progress and play games!
