This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong research skills and a critical mind. No journalism or fact-checking background required — just a sharp eye for accuracy and a commitment to doing good work.

What You'll Do

• Verify AI-generated statements, statistics, and claims against reliable, authoritative sources
• Flag factual errors, outdated information, and unsupported or misleading claims
• Rate the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs using structured evaluation rubrics
• Document your sources and reasoning clearly for each fact-check decision
• Work across a wide range of topics — from science and history to current events and culture
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Strong research skills and the ability to identify and evaluate trustworthy sources
• Naturally skeptical and critical toward unverified or ambiguous claims
• Detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to work
• Clear and concise written communicator
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No journalism, fact-checking, or AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in research, journalism, academia, or data analysis
• Experience with source verification or investigative work
• Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation platforms
