Role Description The Financial Analyst role at Anchorstacktech is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting financial planning and analysis for technology projects and business operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, preparing financial reports, and analyzing project costs, revenue forecasts, and operational metrics. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and track financial performance against targets. The Financial Analyst will also help identify financial risks and opportunities and contribute to improving financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, with the ability to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements and preparing Financial Reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and financial metrics.
- Experience using Excel or other financial analysis tools; familiarity with BI or reporting tools is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in a technology, software, or startup environment is beneficial but not required.
