🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Develop and maintain relational databases to support business applications and reporting.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies for improved efficiency.
• Validate, cleanse, and transform data to ensure consistency, integrity, and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, database issues, and data quality discrepancies.
• Support the development and maintenance of data warehouses and reporting environments.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather data requirements.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and routine maintenance activities.
• Document ETL workflows, database structures, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and database best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging database technologies, ETL tools, and industry standards.

✅ Requirements

• Basic understanding of ETL concepts, database development, and data integration.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and database management.
• Familiarity with relational database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Exposure to ETL tools and data integration platforms is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of database design, normalization, indexing, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar is a plus.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting environments is beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
