Role Description
This is a full-time, remote, contract based role for a Scheduling and Guest Relations position at Culinary Backstreets. The role involves tasks such as appointment scheduling, effective communication with guests, ensuring exceptional customer service, and utilizing strong organizational skills to manage guest relations efficiently on a daily basis. Working days will be Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12pm - 8pm
Qualifications
- External customer service
- Respond to all emails that come into the inbox
- Monitor and respond to trip advisor reviews and customer service surveys
- Extend discounts and special privileges to VIP customers, journalists, returning customers and dissatisfied customers
- Manage the CB Passport program - fielding requests for reward redemption and filling missing stamps
- Manage all bookings that come through via bookeo, email and other platofrms (ie viator, timeout)
- Follow up with all eatinerary requests / purchases
- Internal customer service
- Work with walk leaders to manage scheduling
- Ensure that walk leaders are keeping important notes in slack channels for ease of sharing information
- Provide customer feedback to walk leaders on strengths and weaknesses by providing them with customer survey results and trip advisor reviews that stand out
- Manage the quarterly walk report to give feedback on trip advisor reviews and expense management
- Continuously seek improvements in booking processes & tools, feedback tools and other improvement tools
- Manage the CB inbox to ensure that non walk inquiries are being fed to the correct part of CB Team
- Presentation of walks
- Keep walk pages on the site and in bookeo up to date including but not limited to press clips, FAQ, Start times, feed pictures, lead pictures, descriptions
- Work with CB management to create smart Instagram stories and posts and ads on Instagram and facebook to promote the walks.
- Work with other listing locations to get CB walks featured on – including platforms and google businesses
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to collaborate with writers with diverse experience and backgrounds
- Passion for food and travel
- Experience with Hubspot, Slack or Bookeo considered a plus
- Can identify new opportunities and aren’t afraid to try new things, and you aren’t afraid to fail
- Highly organized and detailed oriented with the ability to manage your own workload effectively, and remotely, including quick turnaround requests and longer term projects
