Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Full Stack Developer to support the development and maintenance of web applications across a UK-based technology team.
This is a remote, entry-level opportunity suitable for candidates looking to build practical experience across both front-end and back-end development. You will contribute to application features, troubleshoot technical issues, work with databases and APIs, and collaborate with other team members to deliver reliable digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of front-end and back-end application features.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-structured code.
- Assist with building and integrating APIs and database functionality.
- Test applications and identify bugs or performance issues.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and support appropriate fixes.
- Work with version-control systems and established development workflows.
- Support improvements to application performance, usability and reliability.
- Maintain clear technical documentation where required.
- Collaborate with developers and other internal teams on development tasks.
- Keep knowledge of relevant development tools and technologies up to date.
Requirements
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework or library.
- Basic understanding of back-end development and APIs.
- Familiarity with relational or non-relational databases is helpful.
- Basic knowledge of Git or another version-control system.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with others.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Previous professional development experience is not essential for this entry-level role, but personal, academic or portfolio projects are beneficial.
