Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Call Center Customer Service Representative to support internal employees with Human Resources-related questions and inquiries. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees seeking assistance with HR policies, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and general employee services. You will work in a fast-paced fully remote setting, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and chats from employees regarding HR-related inquiries (e.g., benefits, leave policies, payroll, timekeeping).
  • Accurately document employee interactions and track issues to resolution using HR systems and ticketing platforms.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve routine to moderately complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex matters to appropriate HR specialists or departments as needed.
  • Provide guidance to employees on how to navigate HR tools and self-service resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics including call quality, response time, and resolution rate.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or high-volume support environment.
  • Prior experience supporting Human Resources inquiries (a plus but not required).
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a structured call center environment.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
