The HR Support Specialist – 3rd Shift is the go-to HR resource for team members and Site Managers across the organization working overnight hours, providing real-time support on time clock issues, benefits questions, and ATS/onboarding troubleshooting. You are the dependable HR presence Site Managers company-wide can lean on to work through team member issues, policy questions, and escalations when the rest of the HR team is off-site. You are a self-starter who is motivated to help people, comfortable working independently, and quick to adapt when priorities shift at a moment's notice. You will be the overnight HR presence for our 3rd shift team, providing hands-on support and partnering with HR leadership across the business. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Act as the dedicated overnight HR support person for Site Managers, helping them navigate team member relations issues, policy application, and time and attendance decisions when other HR staff are unavailable.
- Serve as the primary HR contact and resource for 3rd shift team members, answering questions and resolving issues in real time.
- Partner with Site Managers on real-time staffing concerns overnight (call-offs, coverage gaps, escalations) and help them determine next steps or when to loop in the HR Manager.
- Troubleshoot time clock issues, including missed punches, clock malfunctions, and time-entry corrections, escalating as needed.
- Answer general benefits questions (enrollment basics, eligibility, plan overviews) and direct team members to the right resource for complex cases.
- Troubleshoot ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and onboarding issues for new hires and hiring managers, including login problems, missing paperwork, and status questions.
- Assist new hire onboarding and orientation tasks that occur or need follow-up during the overnight shift.
- Maintain working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and HR systems well enough to answer team member questions accurately and consistently.
- Partner with the HR Manager and other HR leaders on projects and initiatives, providing overnight coverage, data, or coordination support as assigned.
- Document recurring issues and trends and communicate them to the HR Manager to support process improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of team member information and HR records at all times.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, covering unexpected issues that arise overnight and knowing when to escalate versus resolve independently.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) required.
- Ability to work 3rd shift hours: 11:00 PM start, 8-hour shift with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Access to a private, distraction-free home workspace with reliable, high-speed internet suitable for remote work.
- Self-starter who is motivated to work and genuinely enjoys helping people.
- Independent and comfortable working with minimal direct supervision overnight.
- Quick learner who can absorb company policies, systems, and processes across multiple HR functions.
- Adaptable — able to shift focus or priorities at a moment's notice
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment on when to resolve an issue versus escalating it.
- Comfortable being a trusted HR resource for Site Managers, including guiding them through team member issues overnight.
- Prior HR, customer service, or administrative experience.
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, or timekeeping systems.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
This is a fully remote position, worked from a home office during overnight hours beginning at 10:00 PM, supporting Site Managers and team members across all locations rather than a single facility.
- Requires a private, distraction-free home workspace and reliable, high-speed internet capable of supporting calls, HR systems, and remote access tools for the full shift.
- Primarily sedentary, computer-based work — extended time at a desk using a computer, keyboard/mouse, and phone or headset.
- Company-issued equipment must be set up and maintained at a safe, ergonomic home workstation.
- Must remain alert, responsive, and available online for the entire overnight shift; occasional on-site presence may be required for training or equipment needs.
