England Athletics is a membership organisation with c1,770 member clubs/bodies and c166,000 registered athletes, which exists to provide services and support to its members and to promote and deliver athletics and running activities across all ages, event disciplines, ability levels and aspirations and to give support to the wider sport where there are more than 6m who run each month in England, 3,500 licensed road races and 206,991 active RunTogether participants operating in more than 3,287 groups. The Role: A vacancy has arisen at England Athletics for a Membership Engagement Officer on a permanent basis, working within the Membership Engagement Team. The Membership Engagement Officer plays a vital role in delivering a high-quality customer and membership service across a range of programmes and systems. Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team, the postholder will provide efficient administrative and coordination support across multiple areas, including club affiliation, athlete registration, coach and official education, and participation programmes. This role requires proven experience in delivering excellent customer service, managing inbound queries via phone and email, and maintaining accurate records across digital platforms. The successful candidate should have experience in managing relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to use digital systems that support revenue generation and service delivery.
