Job Summary

We need a creative powerhouse who can jump into any brand's world and make it look (and sound) cool. We’re looking for a fractional or freelance content creator who moves fast, thinks strategically, and doesn't rely on generic templates to get the job done.

You'll Be a Great Fit If...

  • You're a Canva Master: You know the shortcuts, the hacks, and how to make a Canva layout look like a custom high-end design. You can pick up a brand’s style guide and mirror it perfectly by lunch.
  • You Can Easily Switch Between Brands: You’ll handle a mix of industries. You can pivot from "corporate professional" to "rugged off-road" to “industrial manufacturing” quickly and easily.
  • You Do More Than Just Edit: You’ll take templates and break them to make something new. You’ll innovate within brand guidelines to create original layouts that stand out.
  • You Can Make Reels: Beyond static posts, you can cut together snappy Reels and short-form videos quickly. You understand pacing, transitions, and what makes people watch.
  • You Write Like a Human: You’ll craft captions that are accurate and engaging. Most importantly, they need to sound like a person wrote them—no "AI-speak" or corporate jargon allowed.
  • You Bridge the Gap: You ensure the visual and the caption work together to tell one cohesive story.
  • You Get the Good Stuff: You have a sharp eye for photography and icons, knowing how to find the right visuals that don't look like cheesy stock images.

Required Skills

  • Experience creating social media content for multiple brands across a variety of industries; agency experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices across Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Ability to create content tailored to each platform’s audience, tone, and content style — not a one-size-fits-all approach
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write engaging, on-brand captions and social content
  • Experience creating graphics, short-form video content, and social assets that align with established brand guidelines
  • Understanding of trends, audience behavior, and the types of content that drive engagement, shares, and community interaction
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment
  • Passion for social media, digital culture, and building meaningful online communities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, strategists, and client service teams

This is a part-time contract position with an expected hourly rate of $20–$30/hour, based on experience.
