Labcorp is seeking a Financial Analyst I to support the FP&A organization and provide financial analysis, reporting, financial modeling, and strategic insights to business and finance leadership. This position supports financial performance evaluation, trend analysis, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives within a dynamic healthcare and life sciences environment.

Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support operational and business decision-making.
- Perform variance analyses to identify financial trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Evaluate actual financial results against budgets, forecasts, and operational plans.
- Analyze data from multiple business sources, including operational, technology, and customer-related datasets, to produce reporting and actionable insights.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations based on quantitative analysis.
- Compile, organize, validate, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources.
- Read, write, edit, and interpret SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis.
- Utilize laboratory systems, laboratory data marts, and other reporting tools to extract and analyze data.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.
- Research and evaluate complex projects involving financial, operational, and technical considerations.
- Assess process methodologies and financial impacts to support business initiatives.
- Recommend and support implementation of new protocols, methodologies, and processes.
- Assist leadership with execution of strategic initiatives and stakeholder implementation plans.
- Prepare and present analytical findings, financial results, and recommendations to business users and leadership.
- Translate analytical findings into business impacts related to pricing, volume, revenue, and operational performance.
- Associate degree in Finance with 1 year or more of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related quantitative discipline with 1 year or more of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics.
- Communicate complex financial and analytical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving when evaluating financial and operational challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with leadership, finance, operations, information technology, and other stakeholders.
- Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Apply organizational and time-management practices to manage competing priorities.
- Understand relationships between pricing, volume, revenue, and business performance drivers.
As a Financial Analyst supporting Labcorp's FP&A organization, you will provide financial and operational analyses that enable informed business decisions. You will partner with leaders across the organization to evaluate performance, identify trends, develop financial models, and support strategic initiatives. This role combines financial analysis, data analytics, reporting, and process improvement to help drive operational effectiveness and business performance.

Salary Range: $50,000-$75,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data
