About the role

About LegalLens

LegalLens is a modern legal consultancy bridging the gap between high–level law and the digital creator economy. We specialise in helping influencers, talent agents, and creative agencies navigate complex contracts and IP rights with 'no–jargon' clarity. We move fast, value precision, and operate at the intersection of law and social media.

Role Overview

This is a remote, unpaid, part–time (10–15 hours per week) working student role for a Marketing and Business Development Intern. You will work closely with the Founder to drive brand awareness, support lead generation, and build lasting relationships across the digital media ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Content Support – Draft engaging social media content, educational updates, and client communications that reflect the LegalLens brand voice.

Lead Generation – Research and identify potential agency partners, brand managers, and high–growth creators across the UK and international markets.

Outreach Strategy – Assist in preparing personalised outreach and follow–up campaigns for prospective clients and partners.

CRM and Analytics Management – Maintain our Zoho Bigin system to track prospective clients and monitor basic engagement metrics to refine marketing efforts.

Market Intel – Monitor industry news, social media trends, and regulatory changes to spot emerging marketing and business development opportunities.

The LegalLens Standard (Requirements)

  • Unwavering Attention to Detail – You notice the smallest inconsistencies in formatting, grammar, or link structures before anything goes live.
  • British English Proficiency – Excellent written communication using British spelling and precise punctuation standards.
  • Technical Savvy – Proficiency in Google Workspace, familiarity with key social platforms, and a willingness to master tools like Zoho Bigin or graphic design software.
  • Creative and Commercial Mindset – You understand how digital marketing feeds into real business growth and enjoy combining creative messaging with structured business development.
  • Adaptability – Willingness to take feedback on board and apply it immediately to refine your output.

What You Will Gain

  • Direct mentorship from a legal professional operating at the cutting edge of the creator economy.
  • Practical, hands–on experience blending digital marketing tactics with B2B business development.
  • Clear insight into the commercial and brand operations of a modern, digital–first consultancy.
  • Flexible working hours designed to fit around university studies or other commitments.
