Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at LION GLOBAL TRADING LP. The Accountant will be responsible for daily accounting tasks including preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and monitoring financial transactions. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The Accountant will also assist with audits and provide financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to prepare financial statements and manage financial reporting
• Skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus
• Experience in a remote work environment preferred
