About Our Client Michael Page is pleased to partner with a boutique accounting practice, they pride themselves on delivering personalised service and fostering long-term relationships. Their clients value a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to understanding their unique business needs. These clients operate across various business structures, including sole traders, partnerships, and proprietary companies. Job Description In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering full-function bookkeeping services to a diverse portfolio of around 25 clients. Our clients range from various businesses, so you'll need to be comfortable shifting gears and working across various business structures.

  • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping functions for a variety of clients
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with superannuation obligations
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant financial records
  • Prepare financial reports as required
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial matters
  • Utilise cloud-based accounting tools (primarily XeroXero) in a fully paperless environment

The Successful Applicant We Are Seeking a Candidate Who Is Self-motivated, Detail-oriented, And Capable Of Managing Their Workload Independently. The Ideal Applicant Will Bring

  • Proven experience in end-to-end bookkeeping
  • Strong working knowledge of XeroXero and related accounting software
  • Confidence and competence in BASBAS preparation and lodgement
  • lodgementExcellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
