The Role

Mutherboard is hiring a New Logo Acquisition Specialist whose job is simple to explain and hard to do well: start conversations with companies that don’t know us yet and turn those conversations into real opportunities. This is a pure outbound role. You’ll spend your days earning meetings with senior decision-makers. There are no inbound leads to hide behind and no scripts to blindly follow - relevance and persistence matter. If cold outreach energises you and you enjoy figuring out how to get a response, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running outbound outreach across calls, email, and LinkedIn
  • Starting conversations, uncovering pain, and qualifying for genuine fit
  • Finding the right decision-makers across Operations, Sales, RevOps, and Leadership
  • Booking high-quality discovery meetings for the sales team
  • Identifying and researching target companies that fit our ideal customer profile
  • Writing and testing messaging that gets replies
  • Keeping the CRM clean with clear notes and strong handovers
  • Sharing insight from the market on objections, patterns, and what’s working

What good looks like

  • You consistently book meetings with the right people
  • Prospects understand why you’re reaching out
  • Your messaging improves over time because you pay attention to results
  • Sales doesn’t need to re-qualify the meetings you book

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in outbound sales, business development, or new logo acquisition
  • Confidence on the phone — you don’t avoid calling, you use it
  • Comfort with rejection and the discipline to keep going
  • Clear, direct communication (spoken and written)
  • A practical, curious mindset — you test, adapt, and improve
  • Strong organisation and CRM discipline

SaaS, tech, or B2B services experience is a plus, but outbound ability matters more than logos on your CV.
