Job Title: Accounts Payable Administrator Location: Homebased Salary: £26,208 Contract Type: Fix Term Contract Working Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours/week Role Summary The Accounts Payable Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the business. This is a remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from home while staying connected with the team. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices promptly and accurately, matching them to purchase orders where required, and ensuring all invoices are correctly coded and paid on time. This role is essential in maintaining strong supplier relationships and supporting the overall efficiency of the finance team. Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Process around 300 weekly invoices, ensuring accurate matching, correct VAT, and handling of credit notes.
- Maintain supplier accounts, manage approvals in line with policy/DOA, and support supplier statement reconciliations.
- Resolve supplier queries, respond to chase letters, and prepare scheduled payment runs.
- Support the Finance team with day-to-day tasks and occasional ad hoc responsibilities.

Experience, Skills And Knowledge Required For The Role
- Strong administrative experience (Accounts Payable experience is desirable but not essential).
- Comfortable with statement reconciliations or willing to learn.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to see tasks through to completion.
- A supportive team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Good Excel skills, ideally including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience with Sage 200 is an advantage but not required.
- AAT qualification (or currently studying) is desirable but not essential.
