Join our team! We’re excited to welcome a Fraud Analyst (all genders) to our expanding Fraud Prevention Team.

What you will do:

• Conduct daily transaction reviews to detect, prevent, and mitigate suspicious activity, escalating issues to relevant teams
• Action alerts, cases and monitor the performance of existing rules and quickly implement new strategies to mitigate emerging fraud threats.
• Use data analysis, testing, and performance tracking to enhance fraud detection rules, optimizing their effectiveness and minimizing false positives.
• Assist with ad hoc fraud and payment escalations, investigations, and transaction inquiries
• Generate analysis of transaction activity and payment behaviour using Excel, Tableau or any other BI tools
• Create and deliver comprehensive reports to senior management and business stakeholders
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Finance, Customer Support, Product, IT, and 3rd party providers.

Job requirementsWhat you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in a role that required data-driven analysis
• Skilled in SQL and experience with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Databricks, etc.)
• Knowledge of anti-fraud tools is a plus
• Ability to effectively interpret data and identify patterns and trends using analytical and problem-solving skills
• Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills – needs to excel in fast paced environment with frequently changing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Having knowledge of Python, R or other scripting languages is a plus
