Business Development Representative

PlaybookUX is an all-in-one user research software platform that empowers teams to recruit participants, conduct studies, and analyze insights—all in one place.  We help companies gather feedback on their websites, products, prototypes, concepts, and all digital assets. 

We're seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing team. As a BDR at PlaybookUX, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, introducing them to how our platform can transform their user research process. You'll play a critical role in building our sales pipeline, educating the market, and helping design-driven organizations discover a better way to understand their customers. We’re a fully remote team, so we’re looking for someone who thrives in this environment.

Who you are

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (B2B SaaS experience is a plus)
  • You have demonstrated a track record of meeting and exceeding your quota
  • You excel at outbound prospecting
  • You are constantly thinking of new ways to be creative with your outbound prospecting. You track what works and what doesn’t, and consistently change your messaging to find what works best for you.
  • Incredible communicator (written and verbal)
  • Friendly, engaging, and professional
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new tools and platforms
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple language that can be easily understood by anyone
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical, you thrive in a remote startup environment
  • Based in the United States

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the initial contact for prospective customers, representing PlaybookUX
  • Schedule qualified demos for the Account Executive team with UX researchers, Product Managers, Designers, and other key decision-makers
  • Track and manage activities in our CRM, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions
  • Outbound prospect new customers through LinkedIn, email, and phone. 
  • Become a product/industry expert
  • Overcome prospect objections
  • Maintain accurate forecasting records and sales pipeline
  • Ability to understand and successfully promote the PlaybookUX platform

  • $50K base salary, $70K OTE
  • Uncapped commissions

  • Stage 1: 15-minute conversation to get to know you and learn more about PlaybookUX
  • Stage 2: 30-minute interview to dive deeper into your experience
  • Stage 3: 2 x 30-minute conversations with other members of the leadership team
  • Stage 4: Discuss the offer, hiring & and onboarding details
