About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, customer-centric person to join our busy, collaborative service desk.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Success, you will be a key interface with external customers, providing exceptional technical support, analysing and troubleshooting technical issues primarily with the ROCC product suite to provide effective solutions and installations. You will also be pivotal in supporting our Product and Consultancy teams to deliver customer success.
There is plenty of potential to grow. You will follow an induction plan with weekly check ins and an ongoing personal development plan. The longer-term aim will be to progress you into either the Projects Team or become a fully rounded Technical Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with ROCC Service Desk, Project Management, Developers and Head of Service to progress all assigned issues to timely, successful resolution
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support and consultancy for the ROCC Product Suite and architecture to both internal and external stakeholders
- Data manipulation, QA testing, installations, upgrades and technical reporting consultancy on customer projects under the direction of the Projects Team
- Application installations, ensuring all setups meet customer configuration, reliability and security requirements
- Support the internal Product and Consultancy teams who deliver demonstrations, training and consultancy to new and existing customers
- Occasional opportunity to travel onsite and meet clients

Qualifications
We are ideally looking for 1-5 years in a technical or application support environment, but we are open to developing fresh talent with an exceptional technical skillset.
Required Skills
- SQL Server, familiarity with database structures and SQL scripting
- Windows Servers and Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Knowledge of API Integration & Troubleshooting (some of REST/SOAP, Postman, JSON, XML)
- Knowledge of areas such as networking, QA testing, working with datasets, Windows application installations, upgrades and web server configuration
- An unwavering commitment to exceptional levels of customer service and success
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in the UK without restriction. Whilst this role is remote, you will need to be based here for occasional travel to client sites.

Pay range and compensation package
A competitive base salary between £28-40k dependent on experience, plus a performance related bonus, laptop and mobile.
