Operations Administrator – Job Description

To get to where we’re going, we need an Operations Administrator who can understand the vision and direction of the company as we aim to become one of the UK’s leading Energy Consultants.

The Role:

The Operations Administrator will play a key role in supporting operational delivery, with primary responsibility for managing our bill validation function and associated client services.

Bill Validation & Reporting:

Run the monthly bill validation process for our customers, including supplier invoice retrieval, validation via CRM system, discrepancy identification, report production, and communication with customers.

Query Management & Stakeholder Communication:

Manage invoice and account-related queries across customers, suppliers, and partners, including investigation, resolution, stakeholder communication, and accurate CRM logging to ensure visibility and accountability.

Operational Support:

Provide day-to-day operational support through CRM data management, coordination of client and partner onboarding, preparation of internal reporting, management of supplier account notifications (including payment and accounting queries), customer liaison to support timely resolution, and coordination and submission of monthly meter readings to suppliers.

What we’re looking for?

Due to the on-going growth plans for the company, it’s essential that the successful candidate has experience within an energy specific service based role already on their CV.

Experience Required:

·      Experience and success of working within an Energy Consultancy or Energy Supplier.

·      Understanding of supplier invoices and invoice validation processes.

·      Experience managing queries and communicating directly with customers, suppliers, and partners.

·      Comfortable with query management and logging of activities within a CRM system.

·      Experience of building strong relationships and networks (at all levels), both internally and externally.

·      Previous experience working in an agile, remote working organisation, demonstrating skill in managing changing workloads and supporting wider company targets.

·      Strong communication skills, capable of delivering work against clear deadlines and goals.

·      Excellent attention to detail, showing initiative, working independently, and solving problems effectively.

The Package!

The vacancy is listed based on 16 Hours per Week (Mon-Thurs 10:00-14:00) working from home.

  • Pro-rata salary of £29,460 (Based on FTE of 37.5 Hours per week)
  • 16 Hours per week salary to equal £12,570pa.
  • Company Pension scheme
  • Flexible Remote working policy
  • 28 days holiday allowance, inclusive of public holidays. (Option to buy up to 5 more days per annum)
  • Company provided laptop & mobile phone.
