About The Role As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative working remotely from your home in California, you will play a vital role in supporting consumers with their healthcare benefits and services. Your primary responsibility will be to engage thoughtfully with customers, understanding their needs and providing accurate information to help them navigate complex healthcare options. Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong empathy, patience, and attentive listening skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and Windows-based applications
- A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace
- Secure, high-speed wired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers seeking assistance with healthcare benefits
- Engage thoughtfully with customers to understand their specific needs and concerns
- Research across multiple systems to resolve questions accurately and efficiently
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate information to guide consumers through healthcare options
- Manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining a high level of service quality and professionalism
- Follow scheduled shifts, including designated breaks and lunch periods
- Document interactions and update customer records as required
- Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
