About the role:

We are Sweetana LLC, an Egyptian manufacturing company specialized in premium chocolate products, and we are expanding into the U.S. market for the first time. We are looking for a proactive and entrepreneurial U.S.-based Business Development & Sales Lead to help us open and penetrates the U.S. market, build distributor, Key accounts, and wholesale relationships, and establish our presence from the ground up.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys building markets, not just selling existing pipelines.

Sweetana LLC is an Egyptian chocolate manufacturer focused on quality, consistency, and export-ready production. We serve international markets and are now seeking to enter the United States through strong distribution and wholesale partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify and approach potential distributors, wholesalers, importers, and key B2B buyers in the U.S.

- Open new accounts and establish Sweetana’s first customer base in the U.S. market.

- Build and manage the full sales pipeline (prospecting, pitching, negotiation, closing).

- Present our products, samples, and brand story to potential partners.

- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and distribution agreements

- Provide continuous market feedback (pricing, competitors, trends, regulations)

Requirements:

- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or market entry (preferably in FMCG and chocolate).

- Strong understanding of the U.S. food, retail, or distribution landscape is a strong plus

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working in an early-stage, build-from-zero setup

- Based in the U.S. and legally eligible to work there

Engagement model:

- Remote — U.S. based candidates only

- Contract-based engagement, with potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance

- Fixed base + commission on closed deals (details to be discussed)
