The Sally Branson Consulting Group (SBCG) is a boutique crisis communications and reputation management firm based on the Gold Coast, with clients across the country as well as internationally.
We work with brands, businesses and individuals, including ASX-listed companies, national charities and government agencies, all managing complex and sensitive situations.
About the role
SBCG is seeking an Account Manager for two and a half to three days a week to support the reputation work of our client base. This can be a fully remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring our business supports clients to feel secure during crisis
- Delivering well organised, strategic campaigns for our client's ongoing reputation work
- Supporting our crisis work directly during crisis situations, including drafting holding statements and preparing Q&As under time pressure
- Identify and put forward media opportunities that strengthen client outcomes
Our approach

This role suits someone who can take direction and run with it rather than someone who needs close supervision.
About you
- You have the ability to respect our clients' confidentiality
- Three to five years' experience in public relations, communications or journalism
- Strong writing skills, demonstrated under time pressure
- Established journalist relationships, or a genuine willingness to build them
- A close interest in current affairs and the news cycle
- Prior crisis communications experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential
