Children’s Animation Specialist – Freelance

This role focuses on creating vibrant, educational cartoon animations designed specifically for young children. The ideal candidate will develop engaging video content that combines entertainment with learning, helping children grasp moral values, creativity, language, numbers, and essential life skills. The project requires a creative professional who can translate educational concepts into visually appealing and age-appropriate animated stories, ensuring each video is both fun and informative for its intended audience.

Deliverables

- Produce a series of short, colorful animated videos tailored for children

- Develop storyboards and scripts that communicate educational themes clearly

- Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and scenes in a cartoon style

- Integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance engagement

- Ensure all content is age-appropriate, safe, and suitable for young viewers

- Collaborate on revisions and incorporate feedback to refine animations

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience in 2D or cartoon-style animation, preferably for children’s content

- Strong storytelling skills and ability to convey educational messages visually

- Proficiency with animation software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects, or Toon Boom

- Creative approach to character and scene design, with a keen eye for color and detail

- Ability to manage project timelines and deliver high-quality work to deadlines

- Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback

- Portfolio showcasing relevant animation work for children is highly desirable
