Our first app, Voidpet Garden, was named one of Google’s Best Apps of 2023.

Now, we’ve built something far bigger: Voidpet Dungeon, a top 20 RPG that is our new rapidly growing flagship product.

We are an 8-person team working fully remote over Discord.

About the role

We are looking for a designer who treats their craft like an engineer treats code.

You don't just make things look good—you build visual systems. You’re obsessed with what captures attention, capable of building for scale and speed, and uncompromising on aesthetic integrity.

In other words, you think like a marketer, build like an engineer, and have the eye of an artist.

Your primary responsibility will be to generate high quality, on-brand, advertisements for the Voidpet Dungeon RPG. You’ll be tasked with both static graphics and video deliverables.

What you'll do

• Make Great Ads: Own the visual quality and consistency of all marketing creatives. Apply and evolve existing brand guidelines. Partner with UA, product, and other creative partners to iterate based on performance and feedback. Make ads that people want to stop to watch.
• Figma Wizardry: Build, maintain, and sprint within our design systems. You’re a technical, systems thinker who loves using auto-layout, components, and shortcuts to maximize your leverage.
• Async Communication: You’re comfortable working in the open. You'd rather send a quick screenshot or Discord message than schedule a meeting.
• Visual problem solving: You can quickly synthesize platform constraints, marketing objectives, and product updates to create eye catching pieces that captivate players.
• Creative Partnership: You’ll be working directly with the founder. Your goal is to take a raw idea and turn it into a polished asset faster than I can.
• Brand Stewardship: Help protect the visual language of Voidpet as it evolves across platforms and grows richer in execution.

• You’re a Speed Demon: You hate friction and love finding the fastest path to a beautiful result. You can proudly design 20 graphics in one afternoon because you’ve mastered variables, auto-layout, and bulk-editing to a degree that makes manual work look obsolete.
• You’re a Swiss Army Knife: You love to master cutting edge creative tools. You can mock up a layout in Figma, and leap over to CapCut to bring it to life. You’re not afraid of using AI for brainstorming or support if it doesn’t take away from the quality of the creative.
• You’ve got High Agency: You don’t rely on meetings or wait for syncs. You’re excited to knock out tasks and tackle new creative opportunities without being told twice.
• You’ve got an Eagle Eye: You catch the details others miss—you can spot a ****1-pixel misalignment or an off-brand hex code from a mile away. You have the eye of a traditional Art Director who obsesses over kerning, color theory, and composition, but you don’t let it slow you down. Precision is second nature, not a source of anxiety.
• You’re a rare Creative-Killer Hybrid: You believe in a future where artists and designers are just as fearsome as the engineers who built Silicon Valley. You have the rare ability to navigate cutthroat business needs while holding artistic integrity as a non-negotiable priority.

Compensation: $100,000-$170,000
