Role Description The Estimator and Project Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for managing the lifecycle of commercial aluminum window projects, from initial bid to completion. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, preparing accurate cost and project estimates, and developing budgets for materials and labor. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and clients to clarify project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, while tracking project progress and addressing issues proactively. The Estimator and Project Manager will also maintain detailed project documentation, monitor costs against budgets, and support decision-making to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
- Cost Management and Budgeting skills to develop, track, and control project financials.
- Construction Estimating and Project Estimation skills to interpret plans, quantify materials, and prepare competitive bids.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams in a remote environment.
- Experience in construction, glass and glazing, or commercial building products is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant education in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
