The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and maintaining a strong professional network. Duties include developing strategic plans, conducting market research, preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and negotiating contracts. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and project goals are achieved effectively.

Qualifications

• Business development, sales strategy, and client relationship management skills
• Market research, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation, contracting, and analytical skills
• Ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment
• Knowledge of the construction and services industry is highly desirable
• Experience with Indigenous procurement or working with culturally diverse communities is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
