Role Description

We are seeking a UK based, motivated and operations-focused Junior Network Engineer to join our growing team. This role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our network infrastructure. As we expand, you will play a critical part in maintaining our network and providing expert-level support for both internal teams and external partners. The JNE role also involves collaborating with team members to optimize server performance for a seamless gaming experience, ensuring high reliability and low-latency service delivery. This is a full-time remote role.

 Key Responsibilities

• Engage with colocation partners and upstream providers to ensure network reliability and performance.
• Respond to network incidents, conducting investigations, implementing resolutions, or escalating as appropriate.
• Provide 3rd-line network support to internal support teams.
• Coordinate with datacentre remote hands for physical troubleshooting and remediation.
• Ensure that all network device configurations align with intended design specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation and device inventory.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, including configuration deployments and device software upgrades.
