Job Description This is a dynamic role perfect for a social media professional looking to make a real impact in the creative digital products space. You’ll take ownership of social media scheduling and email marketing for a profitable online business, working closely with the founder to streamline operations and drive engagement. The role offers excellent growth potential as the business continues expanding its digital marketing efforts, with opportunities to evolve into video content creation and additional marketing responsibilities. This position provides the flexibility to work during your preferred hours while contributing to a business that serves the creative community. Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage engaging social media posts across Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook platforms
  • Set up and execute email marketing campaigns using MailerLite platform
  • Monitor and respond to customer inquiries via email, including refund requests and account support
  • Handle customer service tasks through professional written communication
  • Create efficient workflows for social media content scheduling and management
  • Assist with email marketing campaign development and execution
  • Provide administrative support for marketing activities and initiatives
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner and existing virtual assistant team
  • Potentially expand into basic video editing for social media content as the role grows

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in social media management and community engagement
  • Proven experience with Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook business platforms
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, preferably MailerLite or similar tools
  • Excellent written communication skills for customer support interactions
  • Understanding of e-commerce and digital product business models
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Flexibility to work during client’s preferred overnight hours (Atlantic timezone)
  • Basic video editing skills preferred but not required initially
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across platforms
