🗂 We’re Hiring: Finance Officer / Bookkeeping Specialist

🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Finance Officer / Bookkeeping Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily financial operations, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring timely processing of financial transactions. You’ll work closely with internal departments to support reporting, bookkeeping, and financial administration while helping maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards. 🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain daily financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and payment transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
  • Maintain organized bookkeeping records and financial documentation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules for internal use.
  • Monitor expense claims, petty cash, and company financial records.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities when required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
  • Assist with audit preparation by organizing financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve finance-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Recommend improvements to bookkeeping processes and financial workflows.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential financial information with integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Knowledge of bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously develop professional finance and accounting skills.
