Graphic Designer (Volunteer & Remote Role)
Job Description
Posted on: June 30, 2025
We run dating events for those fed up of dating apps. Events that are Not speed dating but something much better, simply a laidback gathering of people in a no pressure vibrant atmosphere such as bars and cafes. Our events have been a great success and we are looking to expand. Flamingo Dating encourages people to meet each other in real life, under our wing (no pun intended). Our events cover different groups ranging from 18 - 50. So far, multiple people have dated, exchanged numbers, made friends and had plenty of laughs.
Why Should Someone Attend… ✅
- Over 90% of our attendees come solo, so dont worry about bringing a friend if you're the only one not in a relationship in your friend group. Come solo!
- Icebreaker questions, fun games to play, and other activities in our events (Optional to partake)
- Make a change from endlessly swiping on a screen and having no substance conversations.
Why Dating Apps Suck ⚠️
- An uneven balance - 15% of users on dating apps in the UK are female, and 85% are male.
- 50% of Britons have never asked anyone on a date in person.
- You can’t read a person’s body language, facial expressions, tone of voice or get a real feel of what they are like.
