About the Role

The Analytics Consultant is responsible for the design and delivery of high quality dashboards and reports for Protecht's customers and internal teams, using Protecht's own Business Intelligence tools. Working closely with Business Analysts, customers, and internal stakeholders, you'll turn documented requirements into effective reporting solutions while contributing to the continued improvement of Analytics delivery standards.
In this delivery focused role, you'll manage your work through the full implementation lifecycle, from development through to testing, UAT support and deployment, while building your understanding of Protecht.ERM's data structures and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build high quality dashboards and reports using Protecht's Business Intelligence tools.
- Work with Business Analysts, customers and internal stakeholders to understand and clarify reporting requirements.
- Deliver Analytics work through the implementation lifecycle, including development, testing, UAT support and deployment.
- Validate data, calculations, filters and visualisations to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
- Deliver assigned work within agreed estimates and sprint timeframes.
- Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback to improve solution quality.
About You
- Experience developing dashboards, reports or data visualisations using Business Intelligence tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and data structures.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to produce clear and professional documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a delivery team.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Australian citizen or demonstrated right to live and work permanently in Australia.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with InetSoft Style Intelligence BI.
- Experience with ThoughtSpot or Power BI.
- JavaScript or other scripting experience.
- SaaS or consulting experience.
- Risk Management or GRC experience.
