2. About the Opportunity:
The Call Center Associate – Medicaid supports Medicaid recipients and healthcare providers by delivering accurate information about Medicaid benefits, eligibility, and claims. This role plays a key part in ensuring that members and providers receive timely assistance, contributing to the smooth operation of Medicaid services and improving client satisfaction.
3. Responsibilities:
• Respond to Virginia Medicaid member and provider inquiries using a computerized system with standard scripts and procedures.
• Gather information, assess caller needs, research issues, resolve inquiries, and document calls.
• Provide clear information regarding eligibility, claim status, and provider enrollment.
• Follow established policies and procedures including call handling and escalation processes.
• Advocate for Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure their needs are met.
• Verify documents and images as assigned.
• Complete required training.
4. Requirements:
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to clear a criminal background check and drug test.
• Access to high-speed internet and a quiet work environment.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Hourly rate of $16.50; bilingual candidates earn $17.50 per hour.
• Compensation may include bonuses or incentives based on business needs.
• Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
