Client figures reach us as system exports, spreadsheets and the occasional scanned report. As a Business Operations Analyst at Wert Group, you will clean them up, build Excel models from them and turn the results into slides for our project teams. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in the United States. You will work with consultants and project leads across several engagements, and see your analysis used in client decisions.
A typical week:
- Collect and clean operational and financial data from client systems
- Build Excel models for costs, capacity, pricing and process performance
- Benchmark clients against peers using public filings and industry data
- Analyze processes and quantify where time and money are lost
- Prepare charts and slides for steering committee meetings
- Track project milestones, risks and open actions
- Write short summaries of findings for partners and clients
- A bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering or a related field
- Excel, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP
- Some experience analyzing data, from a job, an internship or coursework
- PowerPoint or Google Slides
- SQL, Power BI or Tableau
- An internship in consulting, finance or operations
- Experience with financial statements or cost data
