Role Description

This is a volunteer remote position for a Head of Finance at What Were You Wearing (WWYW) - Australia. The Head of Finance will oversee financial planning and management for the organization. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insights to inform strategic decisions. Additionally, this role will involve maintaining accurate financial records and offering reports that support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Finance
• Experience in Budgeting and financial planning
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of nonprofit financial management practices is a plus
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is highly desirable
